Sorry guys but I haven't fitted this yet, although it looks ideal and am relieved that this type of kit is still available. My stationary engine, a petter diesel Is not for display (nothing wrong with displays at all ) but is used to drive a winch which pulls my open fishing boat up a steep shingle beach. The present belt is old, slips under pressure so I need a replacement. Will be fitting in the couple of months and happy to update then. In meantime thanks for prompt service

Nice classic-looking plug with a 1" a/f hex. It's a Bit tight a squeeze for a box spanner, at least on my PT, but a conventional open-ended spanner is fine.

Disadvantages: 1" hexagon is a bit tight for access.

Direct replacement for original condenser. Easy to fit.

Advantages: Great little manual - a mine of information to help get the best from your J.A.P. engine. As a novice owner I found it really useful to learn about, not only the model I have (2A), but also the main differences between the models in the range. So much knowledge to be found in such a little book.

Disadvantages: Nit-picking really but some of the cut-away drawings would have been clearer if they were a little bigger. But then a larger booklet would cost more so can't really grumble.

Got a 4 meter length used just under 2m for motor to fly wheel. Easy to join ends.
2nd 2m length cut to 18mm width for fly wheel to lathe.
