Lister CS Gib Key Puller

Arrived by courier very quickly!

Super heavy duty...

Advantages: Well made.... Pulled out Gib keys in 70+ old engine like a Pepperami from its packet..... against all odds, not what I had expected.... amazing.

Disadvantages: None that i could find..

As always S E Parts very efficient... Lister CS gib puller appears very well made, it fits like a glove and would survive a nuclear blast.... about to use it soon but have no doubt if this doesn't do the trick then nothing will, other than attempting drilling out which in my experience is not that easy without causing some damage.

Advantages: Solid and very well made....

Disadvantages: So far i see no disadvantages

Nicely made, good solid piece of steel. Very pleased with it and arrived quickly.

What a great tool, what could have been a nightmare was made super easy! I had to tidy up the gib key first with a file and clean the groove ready for the puller but it came out smooth as anything as if it had been put in yesterday not 30yrs ago.

Advantages: Removed two gib keys in a matter of minutes, took longer to make a cup of tea.

Disadvantages: None I can think of.

I bought the puller after failing to drift out the gib key. 5 minutes it took to easily remove.

Advantages: The drift was damaging the gib key. No damage using correct tool.
