This customer purchased the item at our site.
Had several failed attempts to obtain a reasonable finish on my lathe, with water based paint from a big diy shed, then oil based paint from a nationwide chain of decorators suppliers, in desperation tried the Paragon enamel and never looked back. Obtained a good finish without even trying.

Advantages: Specially formulated to be matched to the colour of my lathe. Quickly delivered and goes on beautifully. The water based flashes off too quickly leaving brush marks. The oil based paint wrinkled and creased went sticky and had to be removed, but the Paragon has just the right drying time flows out lovely and the brush marks just disappear. Very pleased with the product. It looks to be very hard wearing.

Disadvantages: It’s quite expensive but when you add up all the time and money I have spent on this project, trying to do it on the cheap, it’s a no brainer. I could have saved weeks of sanding, scraping and swearing by using the correct Paragon enamel.
