Lister L Piston Ring Set to Suit 5.5” Bore + 0.010" Over Size (4 Ring Set)

New, high quality piston ring set suitable for Lister L petrol engines and Lister M kerosene engines with a 5.5” +0.010" bore.

This is a 4 ring set with 3 compression rings and 1 oil scraper ring.

Compression Ring Dimensions:

• Bore size 5.510” (139.95mm)
• Height 1/4” (6.35mm)
• Radial depth 0.180” (4.572mm)

Oil Scraper Ring Dimensions:

• Bore size 5.510” (139.95mm)
• Height 1/4” (6.35mm)
• Radial depth 0.180” (4.572mm)

Please note: All rings will need to be gapped to suit your cylinder bore. As a general rule of thumb piston rings on vintage engines should have 0.003” of end gap per 1” of cylinder bore diameter (i.e. 4.25” bore would need 0.01275” ring end gap). Be sure to gap your rings on the smallest or unworn part of your bore, on worn or older engines that have not had a new liner fitted this would normally be towards the bottom.
