Quality replacement piston ring sets suitable for Lister B type engines with 4.5" diameter cylinder bore's.
This set comprises of:-
3 x 3/16" wide compression rings equivalent to Lister P/N B14
1 x 3/16" wide oil scraper ring equivalent to Lister P/N B212
All four rings are supplied with radial depths of 0.157"
Some customers have reported thier engine only being equipped with a three ring piston. Thanks to David Edgingtons "Engine Torque" No 218 as published in Kelsey's Stationary Engine Magazine we can confirm that the B type engine used a 4.5" bore size throughout its life. Early engines used piston B13 until build specification B14 and B54, at approximately engine No 48749, when it was superseded by B213. At engine No 69000, piston B213 was revised to include an extra groove for an oil scraper ring.
