Alligator style lacing offers an economical, low-profile belt splice that is hammer applied.
 
Features and Benefits:
  1. One-piece design provides uniform tension across the entire belt width.
  2. Engineered to prevent pieces working loose from the belt.
  3. Hammer-applied; no special installation tools required.
Sold by the length which is approx 290mm.

These belt lacing's are similar to the Alligator style lacings manufactured by Flexco. A length of the clip cut the width of your belt and hammered in at each on of the belt, the supplied pin is then inserted through the interlacing teeth to secure the two ends neatly together.
 

This No 35 size is suitable for use with pulleys of 178mm or greater diameter and will work with belting that is 7.1 to 7.9mm thick.

top quality alligator joiner just as I remember them from years ago, delivered sooner than expected and well packed

Disadvantages: was a little bigger than I thought but i can use at ind museum where I volunteer,
