Motor Reversing Switch

A quality motor reversing switch similar to the "Dewhurst" type commonly found on Myford and Boxford lathes.

 

Suitable for changing the direction of a motor's rotation on both single and three phase motors. Motors are normally hard wired to be able to run in either forward or reverse direction, with this triple pole switch you can run in either direction at the flick of the switch! All you need to do is to connect to your supply and to your motor.

 

An easy to understand wiring diagram is included. Ideal for lots of applications such as car ramps, winches, lathes and milling machines etc or anywhere you need to be able to change the direction of rotation on an electric motor.

The switch is housed in a painted cream, vintage style metal clad enclosure which looks in keeping on older machines and stands up to a workshop environment well. Rated at 16 amps, 440 volts and is suitable for both single phase and three phase motors.
