BSP sizes don’t match up with what you might measure accross the outside diameter of a male thread, which can obviously cause some confusion. For example a 3/4" BSP thread actually measures more like 1" outside diameter.
The size was originally based on the inner diameter measured in inches of a steel pipe bore for which the thread was intended. This often causes confusion, as people think the size refers to the outside diameter of the male thread when it clearly does not.
Please ensure that you have selected the correct size for your given application and understand the above peculiarities of this thread system before ordering. Returns as a result of ordering the wrong size will incur a handling charge, you have been forewarned!

The body of the tap incorporates 1/4" BSP threads, male - female and the tank filter is 1/2" BSP. The filter is covered with brass gauze soldered into place.
1/8" BSP tank thread with a 3/16 diameter push on hose tail outlet.
Fitted with a new rubber seal type plunger so no more shrinking corks and resultant leaks. Supplied with a stainless steel mesh filter and plated grub screw.
A quality brass fuel shut off valve with a 3/8"BSP male threaded inlet for connection to the fuel tank etc and a 3/8 - 5/16" hose tail connection for a flexible fuel pipe.
