Goods will not be delivered until the customer's funds that have been paid to Stationary Engine Parts Ltd and have cleared in full.

Please note that all transactions will be carried out in Sterling. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via e-mail complete with your transaction and order reference numbers. Stationary Engine Parts Ltd monitor prices on a daily basis. We will not be held responsible for pricing errors due to software mal-functions, or human error. This website operates on an 'invitation to trade' basis and not as an 'offer for sale' as a result, Stationary Engine Parts Ltd reserves the right to decline orders for bulk or high value purchases.
Delivery.
We aim for your order to be dispatched to you within 7 working days after receipt of your confirmed order. International orders will be sent to you as soon as possible, time scales may vary depending on location. To keep shipping costs to a minimum orders below a value of £50.00 are often sent by standard non traceable Royal Mail services unless we are requested to do otherwise. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your order and the details provided in your order form. We reserve the right to impose a service charge to cover the cost of any action we may take to ensure the safe delivery of your order when supplied customer details are incorrect. We will be entitled to charge your account with any costs incurred by us in respect of any missed, incorrect or insufficient address details.

At the check out stage, you will be passed on to our Secure Order Processing page via Sage Pay, your details will be encrypted by 128-bit industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption of personal information such as your name, address and credit card details.

Any shortages damages or dissatisfaction of delivered items must be notified to Stationary Engine Parts Ltd within two working days of delivery. Stationary Engine Parts Ltd will not be held liable for shortages, damages or issues related to cosmetic finish notified after this period.
Stationary Engine Parts Ltd strongly advises that all goods delivered by pallet service are thoroughly inspected upon delivery prior to signing delivery manifest for the goods as "received in satisfactory condition". Stationary Engine Parts Ltd will not be held liable for goods damaged during pallet delivery if the delivery agent’s manifest is not marked accordingly.
Returns, Cancellations & Guarantee.
The Customer may only cancel orders once accepted by Stationary Engine Parts Ltd under the following conditions. Stationary Engine Parts Ltd may, at its discretion, allow an order to be cancelled subject to Stationary Engine Parts Ltd recovering from the Customer the costs incurred. In the event of cancellation of part of any order only, Stationary Engine Parts Ltd may invoice the Customer any difference in selling price per unit applicable to the quantity actually despatched up to the time of cancellation compared to the quantity ordered.
The customer may only return products to Stationary Engine Parts Ltd, and receive a credit or refund, on the following conditions:
The Customer must contact Stationary Engine Parts Ltd prior to the return of any products and obtain the prior consent and a returns number (to be quoted on all returned paperwork) Returns must be made within 30 days of the date of despatch. Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging and in a condition which will enable them to be immediately fit for re-sale. Products must be returned adequately packed and despatched freight prepaid, clearly labelled to: CUSTOMER RETURNS, Stationary Engine Parts Ltd, 12 Deepdale, Woodthorpe, York, North Yorkshire, YO24 2SA.
The Customer must quote the invoice details or the reference number on the original despatch note, otherwise any credit given for the returned products will be based upon the lowest sales price; and
For products returned due to Customer error or no longer required and returned in accordance with the above a 10% handling charge will be applied. All carriage charges are non refundable.
Where the customer returns products not in accordance with the above conditions (for example, after 30-days from the date of despatch or in an unfit state) Stationary Engine Parts Ltd may refuse delivery and return the products at the Customer's expense or may apply a handling charge which relates to the actual cost of reprocessing (subject to the minimum charge of £10.00). Refunds and credit notes may take up to 30 days to process from the date of the return of goods.
This returns policy excludes calibrated products, non-catalogue products, extended range products, and specially manufactured or cut products including but not limited to materials taken from bulk quantity rolls such as sheet gasket paper, neoprene and cork materials, pipe, drive belting, cable and specially mixed paint(s) colours. Stationary Engine Parts Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss of or damage to products in transit from the Customer to Stationary Engine Parts Ltd.
All products manufactured or sold by Stationary Engine Parts Ltd are warranted free from defect caused by faulty materials or workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of despatch, either by Stationary Engine Parts or the respective manufacturer.
All custom built, cut or prepared items and special order items including engine assemblies supplied by Stationary Engine Parts Ltd are personalised for you (Manufactured to your specification) and supplied with a limited parts only warranty. As we are manufacturing or cutting goods to your specification we cannot offer any form of refund on these items. We do not accept ANY returns unless Pre-arranged by us. All deposits paid on cancelled orders are non refundable.

Technical information is given in good faith. It is considered the responsibility of the customer to ascertain suitability of a product for any specific purpose. The company is unable to control the method of application, the skill of the applicator, the site conditions or the storage conditions of the product once it has left the care of Stationary Engine Parts Ltd. Warranty shall not be affected by and no obligation or liability shall result from providing technical advice or service in connection with the customer's order or the goods supplied.
Remedies & Damages.
Stationary Engine Parts Ltd shall not incur any liability under the above warranty unless:
(A) Stationary Engine Parts Ltd is promptly notified in writing upon discovery by the customer that such goods do not conform to the warranty; and
(B) the alleged defective goods are returned to Stationary Engine Parts Ltd, carriage prepaid; and
(C) examination by Stationary Engine Parts Ltd of the goods shall confirm that the alleged defect exists and has not been caused by misuse, neglect, methods of storage, faulty installation, handling, testing or repair, or by alteration or accident.
(A) Stationary Engine Parts Ltd is promptly notified in writing upon discovery by the customer that such goods do not conform to the warranty; and
(B) the alleged defective goods are returned to Stationary Engine Parts Ltd, carriage prepaid; and
(C) examination by Stationary Engine Parts Ltd of the goods shall confirm that the alleged defect exists and has not been caused by misuse, neglect, methods of storage, faulty installation, handling, testing or repair, or by alteration or accident.
Stationary Engine Parts Ltd liability shall be limited to replacing, repairing or issuing credits at its option for any goods returned within the above mentioned period. Any replacement goods issued will be supplied as soon as is practically possible but no time frame is implied for non stock or special order items. Stationary Engine Parts Ltd shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages for any breach hereof, including, but not limited to costs of removal and reinstallation of goods, loss of goodwill, loss of profits or loss of use.
Subject to the laws of England. This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the law of England.
In accordance with the EU Distance Selling Directive, you are entitled to cancel your order at anytime within 7 days of receiving your goods. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of 7 working days beginning with the day after the day on which the you received the goods. If you wish to cancel an order under these terms, first contact us and then return your products unopened within 7 days of receiving your parcel.
