Plastigauge is highly effective for measuring the clearance in large bearings, possibly the most widely used application of Plastigauge is in the measurement of clearance in plain automotive bearings. The green packs (PLC) we supply are for measuring clearances between 0.175mm - 0.50mm which equates to 0.007' - 0.020"
