Paramount Lister CS type engines

As the UK representative of Anand Enterprise we are pleased to be able to offer our own "Paramount" brand of Lister CS type engines. Anand Enterprise produce our Paramount engines as well as their own world renowned Powerline brand of engines and are market leaders in their field with an excellent reputation for building the highest quality CS type engines in India.

This engine type's simple, tried and tested design is known worldwide for its simplicity, ease of starting, remarkable fuel economy and reliability, a real engineering achievement. Ideally suited to generate power by simply adding an alternator, pulley, belt and cooling system. All engine models are cold starting diesel fuelled and utilise indirect injection, a lubricating oil pump, exhaust silencer, oil bath air filter, fuel filter, external lube for valve gear, an R. A. Lister style compression change over valve (COV) which enables high compression for easy starting, and are water cooled.

All our engines are manufactured by Anand Enterprise to our exacting standards and they have engines successfully working in Australia, Canada, Germany, Slovenia, New Zealand, England, Sweden, France and the United States. Paramount brand engines include the following additional features which you may not find in other manufacturers engines:

1) In line cartridge type oil filter system on single cylinder engines for improved filtration with modern detergent oils.
2) Thermostatic water control fitted in the cylinder head water outlet of the engines cooling system to help the engine reach optimum operating temperature as quickly as possible, reducing wear and stress on the engine as well as aiding fuel economy.
3) Magnets secured in the oil sump to attract any stray particles to help reduce possible wear on the engine.
4) Counter balance weighted crankshafts on most models for smooth running and high torque against horse power.
5) All oil pipes are manufactured from steel - Not plastic!
6) Fumigation of engine wooden cases as per IPPC conditions issued by customs.
7) Lubricating oil pump manufactured from superior quality gun metal instead of standard grade cast iron.
8) Stretched films are used for wrapping all engines to seal out dust and moisture and to help protect the paint finish during transit.
9) Change over compression ratio valves.
10) Choice of cast iron piston for performance when running on bio fuels or standard alloy piston for reduced engine stress on the higher speed models.
11) Indirect injection for improved performance in cold weather conditions and higher efficiency when running on bio fuels.
12) We do not apply paint to the inside the crankcase to hide sand pockets or casting flaws!
13) Cast iron cylinder head covers to help reduce noise and maintain original Lister CS style features.
14) Pressure gauge on the oil pump of all twin cylinder engines (optional).
15) 12" flat belt pulley for power take off. (other sizes available)
16) Heavy duty cast iron starting handle with original Lister style wooden grip.
17) A full tool kit comprising of spanners, screwdriver, oil can and spare seals etc.
18) A comprehensive user manual and diesel engine guide.

Some of the custom options that we can offer are as follows:-

1, Electric start option which allows assisted starting at the turn of a key. An important note here is that the starter mounting system does not use the idler gear bolt as a mounting point as other starter setups do. All attachments are made via the studs that hold the crankcase cover in place.
2, New type cylinder liner or old type solid cast cylinder either with or without chrome plating at no extra cost.
3, With or without compression change over valve on all models at no extra cost.
4, New easily obtainable taper roller bearings or original Lister type white metal bush bearings for the crankshaft at no extra cost.
5, Radiator cooling system with fan and water pump or the provision for tank cooling via thermosyphen action (tank not supplied).
6, A 12 Volt DC glow plug assembly to assist with very cold starting conditions.
7, Fuel injector line heaters to assist with running on neat vegetable oil and bio fuels.

Engine prices start at just £994.99, (excluding V.A.T) and with a full 12 months parts warranty, but all delivery charges are extra. As a guide UK mainland delivery via a pallet service will be approximately £49.00 but we will happily give specific quotations for other areas or remote locations upon request. At present engine sales are limited to our trade customers only.
