Alligator type lacing offers an economical, low-profile belt splice that is hammer applied.

Manufactured by the well known K.T.X company. It is sold by the 300mm length and can be easily cut to the same width as your belt. Simply hammer the jaws closed onto each end of your belt and slide the pin through the two interlocked sections.

 

This 25E size is suitable for use with pulleys of 102mm or greater diameter and will work with belting that is 4.8 to 5.6mm thick.
