Hylotyte Red is a non setting gasket and jointing compound capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250oC within a joint. It is resistant to most automotive and industrial fuels and lubricants and the filler system provides an instant seal even on rough or pitted surfaces. Hylotyte Red can be used to replace existing gaskets or as a gasket dressing.
A good, general purpose, asbestos free gasketing material suitable for use with Oils, Solvent, Gases, Water, L.P.Steam and most dilute acids and alkali's. A cost effective product manufactured from ecofriendly natural cellulosic fibres bonded with suitable mix of elastomers. Standard sheet size is A4 approximately 295mm by 205mm which roughly equates to 11,1/2" by 8" However we cut this size from a large roll, if you require a larger size in one piece simply email us and we will be happy to provide a quotation. Pure exfoliated graphite with a stainless steel foil reinforcement for improved handling characteristics.

Compressed heat resistant fibre with NBR rubber binder. Available sizes from stock 0.8 and 1.5 mm in widths of 1.5M. Sold by the 0.5 metre length i.e. for one metre order qty 2 for two metre order qty 4 etc. Also available by special order in 0.5, 2 and 3 mm thickness.
Excellent quality PTFE thread sealing tape for ensuring any threaded joint does not leak.
