Product Information

Felt oil seal material available in sheet form or from the roll.

This material is commonly found in old stationary engines and vintage car engines where it used to form a seal around plain white metal bush bearings in order to prevent oil escaping.

The material is 5/16" thick but compresses down to about 1/4" when inserted into a bearing carrier etc.

Standard sheet size available online is 11" by 6" but this is cut from the roll. If a larger single piece is required please contact us for a quotation.
