A set of precision engineered big end bearing shell shells 5-1/D18 and 5-1/D19 complete with oil grooves cut in the white metal for lubrication. Five sizes are available, standard for a 2.5' crankpin and then in 0.010" oversize increments for those who need to compensate for a worn crankpin after a re-grind. Please purchase shims separately to enable you to adjust the nip/clearance which should be no more than 0.003".

We strongly advise that the bearing clearance is checked with a plastigauge kit which is available on the Plastigauge page.
